Koverlux recognizes, in fact, that energy plays a strategic role in its activities and is aware that correct energy management represents the most effective solution to consumption, costs and climate-changing emissions, while generating economic and environmental benefits at the same time.


A forerunner in the field of STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® CLASS 1 certification, Koverlux has successfully completed the certification process to prove itself as a worthy partner for luxury fashion houses in the clothing, footwear and accessories sector.
STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a certification attesting that the articles in zamak, brass, iron, aluminium, processed by Koverlux with matt or glossy colored paint and the articles in brass, polyester and polyamide processed with transparent glossy paint, are ecologically compatible , do not contain or release substances dangerous to human health above the limits established in the Standard and therefore do not release harmful substances into the environment.
The check concerns the presence or release of harmful substances such as: pesticides, heavy metals, carcinogenic aromatic amines, formaldehyde, allergenic dyes, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, VOCs, etc. in raw, semi-finished and finished products. The laboratory analyzes cover more than 300 control parameters and are based on international test methods and test methodologies developed by OEKO-TEX®. Requirements and limits are updated annually based on the most recent scientific discoveries and legal restrictions which are discussed during periodic technical meetings of all member institutes.

ISO 50001
Energy management

Our company has achieved ISO 50001 certification, which demonstrates how our organization is committed to addressing its impact, conserving resources and improving profits through efficient energy management. ISO 50001 is based on the continuous improvement management system model. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management. ISO 50001 provides a framework of requirements with the aim of developing a policy for more efficient use of energy, setting targets and objectives to meet the policy, using data to better understand and make decisions about energy use , measure results, examine the effectiveness of the policy and continuously improve energy management. This ISO standard provides a practical way to improve energy use, through the development of an energy management system (EnMS).
